A little tight

I have a P250 and am a little concerned that the gun will not release from the holster. I am wondering if I need to apply grease or oil to it?

Your new holster is designed with precision retention that requires a short break-in period, similar to a new pair of leather shoes. The snug fit is intentional for security and safety.

We recommend simply leaving your firearm holstered for 2-3 days at a time. This gentle process allows the holster material to naturally adjust to your specific firearm. Many customers find that after this brief break-in period, the draw becomes smooth while still maintaining the secure retention that's essential for safety.
